In France, cowboys have a long tradition

It is said that the Camargue is famous for its white horses, which are reputed to be one of the oldest breeds of horses anywhere in the world. It is true that some of the white Camargue horses are semi-wild, but most of them are used by the traditional cowboys for the purpose of rounding up and herding the black bulls in the Camargue.
