Located on the Rhone River, Arles, France is a great place to visit

This city of Arles is located on the banks of the River Rhône, in the heart of the Provence region of southern France. It is well known for its inspiration for the paintings of Van Gogh, which have influenced the contemporary art displayed at the Fondation Vincent Van Gogh as a result. Originally the provincial capital of ancient Rome, Arles is now a popular tourist destination thanks to the many remains of that era, including the Arles Amphitheater (les Arènes d'Arles), which hosts plays, concerts, and bullfights nowadays.
