A street in the French city of Arles comes together with other streets

Description

The city of Arles is part of the Provence region of southern France, on the banks of the Rhône River. Known for inspiring the paintings of Van Gogh, it has even inspired contemporary art exhibited at the Fondation Vincent Van Gogh, which is housed in a beautiful building built in the 1880s. The city of Arles was originally a province capital of ancient Rome, and it is also home to numerous ruins from that time, including the Arles Amphitheater (les Arènes d'Arles), which hosts shows, concerts, and bullfights every day.
