In Arles, France, there is a beautiful ancient city

Description

The city of Arles is located on the banks of the Rhône River, in the southern region of France known as the Provence. As the birthplace of Van Gogh, it is renowned for inspiring some of the paintings displayed in the Fondation Vincent Van Gogh, which were in turn inspired some of the contemporary art displayed inside. As well as being the former province capital of ancient Rome, Arles is also known for its remains from that era, such as the Arles Amphitheater (les Arènes d'Arles), which today hosts concerts, plays, and bullfights as well as other events for tourists.
